The new Mercedes C-Class has arrived

ALOR STAR: Luxury car enthusiasts can purchase the newly launched Mercedes-Benz C200 which was launched in the northern region recently.

The automaker launched two new variants, the C200 and the C250, and invited the press to the unveiling of the C200 recently.

Its distributor Lowe Motors Sdn Bhd retail operations manager Vicean Chuah said the car had received 150 bookings before the launch and they expected at least 100 more after the launch for the northern region.

Lowe Motors Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of Cycle & Carriage Bintang Bhd who is the authorised dealers for Mercedes-Benz in Malaysia.

Cycle & Carriage Bintang Bhd general manager for retail operations Amanda Ng said it expected to sell at least 500 units of all Mercedez-Benz models in the northern region.

Also present at the event was Chinese Community Affairs, Health and Unity Committee chairman Datuk Dr Leong Yong Kong who said the new model was impressive.

“Owning a Mercedez-Benz, a beautiful home and earning a good income is something Malaysians aspire to and it’s nice to know that in this country, everyone has a chance to work hard to achieve upward mobility,” he said.

The C200 model is priced at RM285,888 and the C250 is priced at RM314,888. By Jasmime Kaur
